Any coeliacs with neuropathy?

I’m being referred to neurology due to some ongoing facial tingling. There seems to be no obvious reason for it and other than it being annoying I’m fine.

I am diagnosed with coeliacs disease for over 10 years and stick to a gf diet. However a fellow coeliac mentioned she had intermittent facial neuropathy and it’s a legacy of living with undiagnosed coeliacs for a long time.

i will mention to doctor but wondered if this was a possibility. (Trying to think of low stakes explanations to avoid freaking out!!)

It’s definitely a possibility, peripheral neuropathy is something that coeliacs can develop. It’s more common for it to affect hands and feet though.
