Dd is 16 and was diagnosed with Crohn’s early in the year. Shes on adalimumab but it has never really worked in my eyes. She had CP levels of >1500 at the start, went down to 400 after a few months. Last one went up to 760. She has had the last 2 days of school feeling generally bleargh but I’m concerned she’s getting depressed with it. It is now getting in the way of her normal activities. Shes neurodivergent so she gets ‘locked in’ with her thoughts and feelings. She has never eaten properly and her diet is becoming more limited and it’s hard to get her to try new things. Because she’s not able to tell us what she’s thinking it’s hard to help her. I’ve asked her to write down what she’s thinking. the hospital said it was mild Crohn’s but she’s never been right since diagnosis. Any thoughts? In theory she is an adult with comprehension as she’s clever. This year is her main exam year so she mentioned under her breath something about exams but not what the issue really was.

Her calprotectin is still raised so there is still inflammation - once that lowers she should feel better but if you don't think it's working then make sure you tell them?
