I just did a bit of googling. Am I correct that you can have red inflamed eyes?

I have autoimmune problems that can impact my appearance. My skin can get awful rashes, my eyes can swell. It can look like I have a contagious disease. I don’t blame people for being worried they could catch something. What I have looks miserable because it is miserable when it flares. It isn’t remotely contagious and if people are actually part of my life, I explain this to them. If they are strangers, I just have to ignore them.
