My doctors believe I have autoimmune uveitis after years of steroids treating inflammation in the back of my eyes. I am so worried about feeling awful, I have a job, a six year old, and a puppy. DH will be here to help but he's so busy with work at the moment. Any experiences or tips?

I’ve been on it for almost two decades with minimal problems. I was picking up more colds for about the first year or so, but my body soon adjusted. But everyone’s experiences are different, so there’s no telling really!

I'm on it, I had bloods before taking it then every month for about a year, now on 3 monthly bloods to monitor liver function etc. I'm much better on it than I was on steroids.

Thanks for the responses. I started today and felt slightly queasy but fine otherwise. Can't wait to come off the bloody steroids but still got two more months on those too.

I have bloods booked in two weeks then I believe again two weeks after that for liver function etc.

I took it for 13 years with very few problems. I had to come off it in the end because my immunity was just dipping too low, but it gave me my life back and enabled me to have a baby.
