Psoriatic Arthritis Rash

I am waiting to see a Rheumatologist and it will take a year to see one. They think I have Rheumatoid or Psoriatic Arthritis. I'm starting to think it may be Psoriatic because of the rash. I had the rash about 2 years off and on and then the arthritis symptoms started. At first I thought I had dermatitis and I was using moisturizers and petroleum jelly on my hand but it didn't really help much.

I have exactly the same and am on a waiting list. I feel your pain OP. It's horrible. I have the rash and find aloe Vera helps

That looks very much like my psoriasis. Your GP will be able to prescribe some effective creams for it to start with, but don’t be afraid to escalate if it becomes difficult to deal with.
Rheumatoid is usually detectable via bloods, but just because you have psoriasis doesn’t mean your arthritis will be psoriatic, I have good old osteoarthritis in addition to severe psoriasis!
