Hashimotos and diet changes

After blood tests for something completely different, I found I had a slightly raised TSH (4.1) level which has come down very nicely with 25mg levothyroxine. However further tests have shown a high level of antibodies (one value is 171).

I have no symptoms of Hashimoto’s, or even just thyroid issues. However I’m keen to reduce the antibody levels as I’ve heard they’re just not great to have around. I’ve gone 95% gluten free (i may have one meal a week with some gluten in if I’m out), and I’m trying to minimise dairy as much as possible.

Has anyone had any luck with this reducing their antibody levels? I have a very healthy diet anyway, very limited processed foods, lots of veg/fruit/nuts.

The cut of gluten is really reducing my calorie intake quite a lot as I’m just not eating anywhere near as much bread pasta etc as GF versions not as nice, so I’m losing weight which I really don’t want to lose. I’m a bit worried I’m doing it all for no reason.
