I’ve recently found out of the blue I have hyperthyroidism, I’m 6 months pp, I’ve seen a specialist and they will soon be doing tests to find out but they said my results lean towards graves,
ive always been on the border of being hyper ( they said i had good thyroid function) but now my tsh is 0.00 and the t4 22.2. And the t3 is in range.
I’m terrified reading online, is it as bad as it sounds?

I had it around 8 months post partum.. the worst bit to be honest is when you don't know you have it and can't work out why you feel so awful all the time!

As soon as I was put on medication I felt better. Stayed on the medication for about 6/8 months and then tapered off. I have never had a relapse since (6 years ago).
