i am on prednisolone and methotrexate for inflammatory arthritis. About 3 weeks ago I kept getting unexplained transient feelings of needing to wee, tiredness and intermittent high pulse. Then 9 days ago a permanent feeling of needing to wee and extreme tiredness and very high pulse 110+. I was put on nitrofurantion but no MSU sent as was a Friday afternoon. Now had 7 days oh nitrofurantion but still have feeling of needing to wee, pulse over 90 at rest and extremely tired to the point that I am pretty useless. I have never had a UTI before. Been off the methotrexate since symptoms started. I have Graves’ disease, pernicious anaemia, autoimmune leukopenia and inflammatory arthritis as well . I’m 59 . I am normally super fit and energetic but this has just floored me and I am sooo fed up!! Can anyone relate????
