Private health clinic suggested I check thyroid after other hormonal tests - estrogen and progesterone - came back as optimal (despite being mid 40s!). I do need to watch androgen levels though…. I do tick every box on paper for an under active thyroid or Hashimotos.
Except my blood tests suggest I’m normal there too! The results were: TSH: 1.5; T4: 15, T3: 4.4; Anti-TPO: 13.7, Anti-TG: 60.
So why the fatigue, dry mouth, total inability to lose weight - even with (previously) Ozempic leading to appetite suppression!! Cold hands and feet. Heart palpitations…
I’ve tried IF, no alcohol, cutting back on sugar and carbs. Am very overweight and yet nothing will move a pound.
Have just started on magnesium and B12.
Also did ferritin, b12 and vitamin D check and only Vitamin D is marginally low (48) which it probably is for everyone in this country at this time of year.
What’s wrong with me?
