Hi,

I'm really sorry if I'm posting in the wrong place! To be honest, I'm not really sure what it is I'm after - a vent, some reassurance... I don't know.

Anyway, a bit of background - DH and I ended up getting pregnant quickly after our honeymoon last year. I quickly became very poorly with hyperemesis which lasted 5/6 months. At 8 months, I suffered a partial placental abruption and my baby boy was born 4 weeks early.

Due to irregular bleeding, I visited my gp who ordered an ultrasound scan and blood tests to check thyroid.

The scan came back showing I had polyps and adenomyosis which need to be investigated (awaiting appointment) and my thyroid tests have come back abnormal (TSH 20.5 FT4 9.3)

The GP was very vague on the phone and all I know is I'm awaiting a follow appointment at the hospital gynaecology and I'm to start medication ASAP.

I just feel overwhelmed. This has all come out of the blue. Has anyone else had any experience with this?

Many thanks

and I'm
