I have hideous recurrent uveitis. It happens in both eyes and has caused a retinal detachment, glaucoma and cataracts, all of which I’ve had surgery for. I’ve been on Adalimumab for a while and it was on the verge of being under control. Unfortunately I’ve just had a big flare up and saw my consultant yesterday, who wants me to start on methotrexate as I can’t take oral steroids (hideous side effects). Has anyone got any experience with taking both together? I’m a bit worried about the side effects.

Not exactly what you've asking but I just take methotrexate, and haven't had iritis since I started it. Only got it every couple of years though so taking the meth for arthritis/psoriasis primarily.
