Anyone else on Adalimubab?

Have been on Adalimubab for UC. I was due a delivery next week and it was postponed to the following week. Then postponed again until January. The supplier says there is a problem getting the medication. I’m going to run out and really really don’t want a flare over Christmas. Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

Ask the prescribing doctor to prescribe an alternative. You don't want to run out.

Where are you based? Can they order in from elsewhere? I so sympathise

Is it your brand they can't get (e.g. Imraldi) or all brands of Adalimumab?

Being treated in the NHS (London). They reinstated the delivery they had cancelled but only have one months’ worth. I started on Humira but they had switched me to the cheaper biosimilar. Next time I’ll contact the IBD nurses I think.

I’m on the biosimilar Amgevita and had no issues with supply. It’s a more user-friendly injection pen than the Humira one too, so don’t panic if they swap you.

I'm on Ustekinumab now after Amgivita and Vedolizumab failing.

Luckily no problems with deliveries here. Fingers crossed they can sort it out quickly for you x
