Dr's thought it could be crohns, but colonoscopy was normal. I have ongoing Diarrhoea, calprotectin was over 600 in June, but went down to 12 in October when retested. I have iron and b12 anaemia. Gastroenterology have now referred for a small bowel MRI, could it still be crohns if colonoscopy was normal?

Hi @GG1986 just wondering whether you were able to find out what this was? Hope you are feeling better.

Hi, thanks, feeling a little better but still have some symptoms. My MRI is in a few weeks so hoping to get some answers.

Yes it can still be Crohn’s as it can affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract from mouth to bum. Treatments have improved massively over the 30 years I’ve had it so don’t panic.
