To wonder if anyone with hashimotos has also developed random patches of skin that tingles sporadically? First noticed on my scalp, now I'm pregnant I've had it near my elbow a few times and this morning on my leg. Thanks in advance.

I have Hashi's too. I have not had the tingling skin as you describe but I have had peripheral neuropathy (which is numbness and a bit of tingling in extremeties) so what you have may be related to that.

Anything nerve-related can be B12 deficiency (common in Hashi's) as B12 is needed for nerve function. Since taking B12 my neuropathy has greatly reduced. Don't take B12 alone though, it required B2 to work.

Another vote for B12d. It's often a thing with Hashimotos and B2 dropped massively when a woman is pregnant.

Thank you for this! If I remember correctly my b12 was far from optimal but of course the doctor said it was 'normal'. I'll look into it!

Thank you! I'll have a look into it for sure. I do believe my b12 was less than optimal last time it was checked.

have you noticed any triggers, such as happening after a high sugar meal? or during times of stress?

If you are in a position, i'd suggest getting your Anti-GAD levels checked

...and i wish you the best with your pregnancy. If your baby makes sudden jerks when hearing bass/deep noises (like a motorbike engine) then please let me know
