Has anyone with autoimmune disease experienced infertility?

Hi, I have lupus and scleroderma. I’ve recently had two failed cycles of icsi/ivf. Neither cycle produced any blastocysts. The clinic are treating it as a sperm issue but I’m worried it’s my autoimmune attacking my eggs. I know I flare around ovulation and I know my body is increasingly fast at killing off anything that gets implanted due to symptoms and 3 natural miscarriages so I would have steroids if I ever get pregnant but they’re not recommending it before. For background, I’ve managed to get pregnant four times naturally over almost 10 years of trying so they know we make blastocysts in the wild.

Have you heard of Dr shehata in epsom. He specialises in immune conditions and infertility. I'm about to have my first appointment but based on the fact you already have a diagnosed autoimmune from what I've researched you should be starting steroids before TTC.

Thank you for replying! I have heard of dr shehata but I’m based in Bristol so didn’t fancy the travel! I might have to make an appointment though as my clinic doesn’t seem to understand!
