I have been having a strange bowel movements and I wouldn’t even know how to describe them to the gp

it appears you're passing mucus with faeces. Possibly due to inflammation. Do ring GP and get advice. Have you other symptoms? abdominal pain, griping etc? If so, make a list so you don't forget to tell GP.

@Biscuitmonster2318 this is exactly what is and been happening to me brown mucus with bowel movements and urgency and so much more
i had calprotectin test and it came back abnormal 157 jus done a repeat hopefully I’ll get my results next week at some point

I was told to give up milk when I was passing lots of mucus. Not totally sure it did anything.

@Biscuitmonster2318 I just keep getting brown mucus every time I have bowel movement being constipated then lose bowels back pain stomach Cramps just had phone call can’t be seen till I’ve had my baby and that 5 months away! Worried could be anything and it’s only gonna get worse without treatment
