Autoimmune disease

Anyone else anxiously waiting a rheumatology appointment?

Got my (private) appointment next week.
Loads of symptoms, recent + ANA bloods.
Had a + ANA 11 years ago and was referred to rheumatology and told "it's fibromyalgia, come back when you're worse"
Well, I'm worse :(
GP couldn't be less interested and pretty much dismissed my concerns.
Lots of other stuff going on too (having a mole removed next week)
Feel very lucky I can access a private appointment but very scared too...

I’m just over a week away from my first appointment. I kind of ground to a halt at one point over the summer and had a load of swollen joints. Bloods were clear other than raised ESR.

How did you get on OP?

I’m hoping the OP has been seen and is getting some help. I have just had a letter confirming a diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis from the second rheumatologist I saw. First was happy to decide it was osteoarthritis then I moved to a different area close to where an amazing rheumatologist practices and had my letter confirming diagnosis today.
