Will school flag up slapped cheek syndrome.

My DD has an autoimmune disease. At her regular appointment with her consultant yesterday he said now that she is in school. I need to watch out for slapped cheek syndrome. He said its a common virus but for someone in my DD condition is can become serious.

The issue is that by the time the rash comes out for slapped cheek they are no longer contagious so it would be hard to know anyone had it
