Weakness and numbness in limbs

I'm due to see a neurologist on 9th November. And have had blood teSt's wich have come back clear.
I just wondered if anyone else has had this?
For about 3 months, legs and feet go numb, sometimes at the same time, sometimes just one leg or, the numbness/ tingling comes and goes in different patches. Other times they just feel weak and a bit shakey. Also affects my hands and arms, sometimes I go light headed with it, not all the time. There's no pattern to it at all. It doesn't matter what I'm doing. And the last few days, the right side of my lips have started feeling numb and tingly too.

How did the neurologist appointment go.

Hi sorry I've just come back and seen this - it went really well - I had some more blood tests last week and am having a mri scan tonight. He said it could be something ( he used a big fancy word) that when my body temp is high, causes an area on cns somewhere to inflame wich cause the symptoms I'm having. I have most of the symptoms apart from 1 so maybe it is that..Will have to wait and see.
Thanks for asking.

I’m being referred to a neurologist, I’m having problems with my left foot. Dreading it but I just want to know what’s wrong with me. Hope your results are ok.

I get numbness/tingling in my arms/hand/leg/foot on and off. Mine's one sided though. Bloods and MRI were clear, neurologist diagnosed hemiplegic migraine as it's worse when I get a crushing headache (on the opposite side).
Hope you get some answers soon.

@Biglumpycustard thank you. Hope you get some answers. @PortalooSunset thank you, I did wonder if he might suggest migraine but he hasn't mentioned it and I don't get headaches with it.

Just to suggest that numbness in patches and tingling/odd nerve sensations can also be caused by b12 deficiency. Our b12 levels in the uk are set incredibly low before you are considered deficient so always worth checking the actual numbers. We also don't use the best test (active b12) as standard yet and the standard test can give misleading results.

I thought the exact same thing! Check out the Pernicous Anaemia Society website - awesome resources and the people running it are helpful and very knowledgable. Flowers Keep us posted please OP😊
