Does anyone have any experience of this? I’ve got it into my head that I have it and I don’t think without reason but please tell me I’m being an idiot and to calm down if I’m way off.
I’ve been struggling with periods of severe fatigue, dizziness and breathlessness on exertion on and off for six months. I saw the GP multiple times at the start and initially it was suggested I was making it up, then that I have anxiety, I eventually got told to go to a heart clinic where I couldn’t get past the nurse practitioner who told me I was “too healthy to be sick”.
At this point I had enough of my own GP as the more I pushed the more I was told it was anxiety or “in my head”. So I went private. This led me to being diagnosed with covid.... fine. Until I had a negative antibody test (nhs approved test through work).
Now my symptoms are fully back and I’m exhausted and climbing the stairs sends my heart rate from 60 to 100. I relented and contacted the GP again and I’m booked in for a bucket loads of blood tests this coming week. I asked about diabetes on the phone and she appeared to have said yes but was a bit vague.
Other reasons I’m worried about this are that my father has LADA after being misdiagnosed as type 2 and his sister is type 1. Other immediate family members have autoimmune conditions.
Thank you
