I’ve been really bad and not had my annual diabetes checks. Life got in the way and now there’s obviously other things preventing it happening.

I’ve been really trying hard to lose weight, I’m cold a lot and through my Apple Watch can see my resting heart rate is just 55bpm. All symptoms of an underactive thyroid - the heart rate being a more serious symptom not picked up until late stages.

My mum has an underactive thyroid and as a diabetic I’m prone to suffer too.

I’m panicked though given my heart rate. I’ve been reading about going into a coma. Not sure what to do.
