Anyone got this
hells456 · 20/04/2020 13:40
I have Primary Biliary Cholangitis (PBC), that's one type of autoimmune liver disease but there are others.

My mum does but is pretty covert about it so I’m not sure on details. I’d be interested to hear about others

Hand up. I have AIC which nobody’s heard of, I’ll bet. It’s Autoimmune Cholangiopathy which is a rare overlap of 2 of the 3 main types of AILD. So I’m treated with immunosuppressants longterm for one (was previously on steroids but the disease has stabilised now so I was able to stop them), and I’m on a bile acid which helps with the other. I’ve read quite a lot about AILD and I’m a former nurse so I’ll try to answer any questions. AND as I’m shielding I have lots of time ....

@CambsAlways, just including your name so you know you’ve had a response.

@hells456, same, been diagnosed 18 months and on Urso. What about you?
hells456 · 21/05/2020 23:44
I was diagnosed at the end of December and I'm on Urso and various vitamins. I don't know if I need an add on yet because I'm still having a lot of testing. I'm struggling with fatigue and itching and terrified thinking of the future. How are you coping?
Techway · 22/05/2020 11:07
@hells456, the fatigue is the worst symptom for me and thankfully I don't have itching.
