Hi
I have hypothyroidism, chronic fatigue, ? Endometriosis, and flit in and out of anaemia (based on current mouth ulcers probably have that atm) I was also pre diabetic at previous blood tests and undergoing tests for RA/lupus/joint problems.

I take regular levothyroxine and lanzoprazole and take cocodamol / TXA for period pain.

I’m wanting to help myself, and wondering if there’s dietary changes I can make that will work.

Exercise is difficult because I get really really bad DOMs and can’t walk or bend knees for up to a week. However, I do netball on-off, wall a lot and am looking to start yoga.

Thanks x

If you're on Instagram search for AIP diets #aipdiet. I think it stands for either antii-inflammatory but they're diets for people with auto-immune problems and inflammatory diseases. .

I have RA and it was suggested to me to read about how gluten affects it. My Dr didn’t say go gluten free, but suggested there could be benefit from doing so

Given your concerns about pre-diabetes, I would suggest trying a low-carb/high fat diet (look on lo-carb bootcamp threads for ideas!). It is a very good approach for regulating metabolism.

At the same time you will naturally be mostly gluten-free and low on fruits - I would suggest being strict about eliminating these for a short while and then you can try varying it more and notice anything that triggers more symptoms.
