DH back on pred, is he safe around newborn?

Hi all, just looking for a bit of info if poss.. DH has recently started a course of prednisolone and is on other immuno-suppressants, so obviously his immune system is quite frankly, shot to pieces... DD has recently (2 weeks ago) given birth to my gorgeous GS. i am having problems finding out whether DH should be around an unvaccinated child and vice versa.

I think he would be fine, he'd just have to be careful after the baby has the rotavirus vaccine as that's live.
