First time it was 4.8, second (six weeks later) it is 5.0. GP has said it will now be reviewed annually and treated if it goes above 10. All other bloods results normal including thyroid antibodies.
My question is, if it has risen by 0.2 in six weeks, does that mean it will continue to rise?
I currently have no thyroid symptoms and originally saw the GP for a burning throat/mouth.

It's hard to tell; tsh can vary slightly at different times if the day so it's best to try to do it at the same time. Usually morning is recommended.

We're antibodies tested?

Sorry I've just seen you have had them done

Thyroids are strange things. Sometimes they can adjust and settle as they - the tsh rather - is supposed to respond to levels in the blood.

I would make sure you are getting good levels of iron, selenium, iodine and vit d through diet and a basic multivitamin as these can support thyroid function/ levels in the body.
