Possible rhuematoid arthritis

Having a ton of blood test done today. My hand is in agony. I thought carpal tunnel. Only on paracetamol and ibuprofen at the moment. Strapping my wrist up. Any other ideas to manage the pain?

Hot and cold helps my joint pain. Hot water bottles or frozen peas. OTC cocodamol with ibuprofen staggering every two hours.
