Hi all,

I had my first ever flu just after Christmas - first week I had fevers, aches, no appetite etc. Second week I started to eat a little, temp returned to normal and i was just left with tiredness.

Week 3 mostly back to normal except for lingering cough (asthma related). Prescribed stronger inhaler and energy levels felt much better.

Then since last weekend I've had increasing tiredness - more like fatigue. I'm sleeping fairly normally, just waking a little earlier than usual. Within an hour of being up I am absolutely exhausted, my arms and legs hurt and I've been getting headaches. My arms in particularly are very weak - they're shaking when I lift a cup.

I've had bloods done recently for other gynae condition I have and iron, vitamin d etc were all fine.

Does this sound like PVFS? I work part time - today's my first day in this week and I'm so shattered, can't concentrate at all. Weirdly my appetite seems unaffected so I'm still eating as normal.

Will phone GP tomorrow for advice but was wondering what others thoughts are. I had immunology bloods done last summer - serum IgA was elevated which apparently is an inflammation marker usually elevated in those with chronic Gastro conditions like crohns. It was put down to my having endometriosis. Wondering if high inflammation has left me more susceptible to something like this?

My daughter was diagnosed with post viral fatigue syndrome after a flu but it turned out to be Addisons.
Might help to google symptoms-
Severe fatigue,weight loss,no appetite,salt cravings,low blood pressure,high heart rate,dark pigmentation on knuckles,knees etc.
