Methotrexate and pregnancy

This might not even be an issue but I’m getting a bit worried. AF is now 2 days late with no signs. I have RA and take methotrexate (4 tablets a week) Last time I was pregnant I came off all meds for 3 months before TTC and then it took 18 months to conceive so absolutely no concerns. Just wondered if anyone has any experience?

To add, we weren’t TTC and aren’t planning on until the end of this year

I was on methotrexate for a while and it caused me to skip a period - no idea why and it's the only time it's happened. That said, I was definitely panicking too. I hope it all works out for you.

I'm on MTX and it messes with my cycle too. Considering its other uses, I'm not surprised. Hope your joints are behaving themselves Flowers

I take the maximum dose of MTX injection for my RA and it does mess with your periods. I can also very badly affect a pregnancy and cause miscarriage. It does something to the womb lining. If you are PG you will need to discuss with doctor urgently. Good luck.

Fortunately not pregnant! I’ve been on MTX for over 10 years (with a gap when I was pregnant) and never had a problem so I panicked!
