Could this all be because of Thyroid?

Hi all.

After the birth of my son 3.5 yes ago, I have been plagued with constant bugs and illness.
I have had strep throat 4 times, the last time resulting in me getting sepsis and being hospitalised for a week because it closed my airways, this was the beginning of June.

Some routine tests came back that I had a Thyroid issue. It has been retested 3 times now.
The last 2 sets were as follows;

May
TSH 3.82 [0.35-3.5]
T4 11 [8.0-21.0]

July
TSH 4.11 - same reference
T4 12

I was referred to immunology and had a load of tests done 3 weeks ago, which apparently came back as normal, so it's now pointing to I guess just a Thyroid issue.

I have all of the sub clinical symptoms, I guess what I'm asking, is the other health stuff, now they have ruled out autoimmune things (I am waiting for a copy to be given to me) could they all be Thyroid related? Has anyone else been in this position?

Promoting me to ask is having woken up feeling like utter shite with a fever, and this is 9 weeks or so since I had sepsis so I'm worried and anxious.

I have a repeat blood test tomorrow at 10 for the Thyroid.

Thanks in advance 😊😊

It certainly could be thyroid related. You need your antibodies tested and ft3. I started levothroxine at your levels and my ferritin, vit d,b12 and folate were all low too.

I've just had some more results back too, and from asking a Dr friend she has said they point to no autoimmune issues.
They were all IGG test and protein tests.
Kind of hoping my repeat thyroid results have again changed tomorrow so they can stop messing about and get on with 'something'

If you don't get anywhere with next results, you could try finger prick tests from blue horizons or medichecks. They do ft3 and other tests whick you can't get through the gp!

It's so frustrating that the GP doesn't do all the tests!!!
