Life with baby and RA

Be great to hear from other RA sufferers who are new (or older mothers). Currently suffering a bad flare up whilst on my previously successful drugs, with a 10 month old son.

As it's my wrists and hands I'm really struggling physically. And mentally I feel like an emotional and deflated mess most days.

It's taking all the enjoyment out of my days which I'm bitter about but struggling to think positive most days when I'm in such pain and find myself just powering through but feeling really miserable.

Anyone else ??? Sad

I have RA and nearly 7 yr old DS. It is very tough, I work full time and I am always tired but I try to just be in the moment. It’s lame but that’s how I cope. Your DC won’t be little forever and you will feel better once your meds get sorted. I sometimes imagine once mine is more independent and I can maybe nap on a Saturday afternoon, one day I will. Hang in there!

I have RA and a one year old, was diagnosed when he was 6 months old. I find it really tough and he goes to nursery two days a week as I can't cope full time.
