Aussie shop like M&S for baby gift delivery?

Hi Aussies! I’m in the UK and would like to send a gift to a friend in Sydney for her child’s birthday. I posted something from the UK when the baby was born and the postage cost twice as much as the gift! Is there a website or department store which will deliver which you would recommend for child’s toys or gifts please? Thank you

what kind of thing do you want to buy for the baby? At the low end is Kmart, then there is Myer, which is a department store...if you want specific examples of lovely toys or gifts we can probably provide that too.

If you want something that is actually useful, though--Bonds Wondersuits, the zippy kind. My kids are 10 and 14, and I still remember how those were my favourite, but they were too $$$$ for me to be able to justify to myself to buy new, so I scoured ebay.

Or you could buy a gift online from an Australian store - Myer, David Jones, Seed, Country Road, Target, Daisy & Hen.

Next also deliver to Australia, they have an Australian site. I lived there for 9 years and must admit I loved UK clothing when I lived there, and bought UK clothing quite often. I wasn't a huge fan of Aussie brands apart from Bonds! M&S deliveries were much more exciting.

Seed always seem to have nice baby stuff.
