Hi All,
Still struggling with my battle v the dreaded mites despite it initially clearing up after the initial rounds of Lyclear.
Took Ivemectin as an extra precaution to get me through Christmas and holiday, but just 3 days after second dose of ivermectin came itchy spots on arm and random red spots on legs.

waiting to see dermatologist, but dog is itching a lot - my theory is I suspect she has caught my scabies and we keep reinfecting each other🙈

Have taken dog to local junior vet who couldn’t see anything, but am taking dog to a specialist dermo vet on Friday.

Anyone any experience of the family dog getting it, and if so, any solutions?

Still feeling hopeless and miserable.

I don't know your story here but assume from the wording this is the subject of previous threads. Apologies if you already know the below.

What flea preventive do you use for the dog? These days, the isoxazoline class should get rid of any mites on the dog - so things like Nexgard or Credelio. Products with actives ending in -laner.

Ivermectin can cause itching as a side effect in humans. And should never be used in collie type dogs.

Hi,
I use Simparcia Trio, I used it on her on 20th December, my rash came back 30th December.
If I’m not clear she will get them back from me in between her monthly treatments is what I was thinking.

My beautiful dog is definitely scratching a lot more.
