SQUIRREL EARS !!

Calling all mums!!
We need to make 30 pairs of squirrel ears for a school production.
We do have a few ideas of what we could do but before I embark on such a task, I thought I would just ask the experts if anyones has any good tips or ideas!
*We need to keep it cheap ie NO BUDGET!
*They need to be able to stay on whilst kids are jumping about!
*I need to make them by next week - ARRRGH!

You could make them out of fur fabric and attach to headbands via loop of fur fabric and velcro (on the bottom of the ears) going around the headbands... not sure I'm explaining myself very well.

grey felt triangles shaped into ears then attach to a band of cardboard around head

Thanks for the suggestions. I think its going to have to be cardboard headbands due to no budget! I am just trying to figure out how to get the right shape for the ears and what to make them out of. They need to be able to stick up and not be floppy!

Also thinking they may need tufts on the top to make them look more realistic!!?

get double sided tape and stick two felt triangle shapes to a cardboard triange. you can comb the felt at the top to make it more whispy

I like the idea of combing the felt - fab idea!
