Is there a list somewhere with links to all MNers who make and sell stuff?

I want to buy something handmade and beautiful...if its functional thats a bonus.

etsy is your best bet tbh. there isn't a link to the MNer's that sell as that would be advertising and we would have to pay!

Mousey84 · 30/06/2010 21:46

Aw, ok. Ive had a look at etsy and ebay, but thought id quite like to buy from an mner before a random person...

Defluff makes beautiful hand sewn brooches if you want to put a shout out for her.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 30/06/2010 21:49

I think she may even be on Etsy.

QualityTime · 30/06/2010 21:49

No, thats' fair enough, and there are a few that sell, have a mooch through the old arts and crafts threads and there will be blog links etc...

The more expensive side of things me and my partner are setting up a sideline business to make custom motorbikes...

but he can pretty much make anything out of metal.

I sew children's clothes but have not yet put them up for sale. Here are some pics of a few tops I've made: www.tummetottfabrics.co.uk/page6.htm

I hadn't heard of etsy before but see it is an american site. How does it work in UK?

Bumperlicious · 10/09/2010 20:40

Good idea to have a list.

Whizzz · 10/09/2010 23:41

you can still buy off Etsy in this country, its just the currency is dollars (even if the seller is in the UK).

Folksy is similar but all in pounds

Whizzz · 11/09/2010 19:49

I sell handmade bags and jewellery on Etsy - I'm missmarmaladeuk and PiccadillySunshine. Just off to check the others out Smile

Suzy1975 · 15/09/2010 19:08

Oh, you can now view etsy in your own currency, which is good.
