Where to find a cross stitch sampler?

Hello,

MIL wants to cross stitch a sampler for DC1 arriving in October. She's done this for all her grandchildren, but because she knows I'm a bit crafty myself she's said I can choose the design. The problem is, I have no idea where to look for nice cross stitch designs. She's quite good, so it's not a case of it being printed on the material for her, but she does like it when it's a little kit that comes with all the necessary threads as well as the pattern.

Does anyone know where would be a good place to look? Ideally I'd love something a little bit nautical (sailing boats, a lighthouse, that sort of thing) with an alphabet maybe. Does such a thing exist?

Thanks very much!

Oh perfect, thank you and full of birth samplers!

Thank you so much, just looking at the pictures makes me want to give up knitting and try cross stitch instead

Hmm, I may have to have a look at their beginners stuff. But I dont want to be doing it on that giant-holed stuff we used in school. Could I trouble you for a pointer about what would be good for a beginner? Sorry to abuse you like this.
