Inspiration for making sugared almond sachets for a christening, please!

Hello! We are organising a christening in a couple of months for my 6 year old DS and our baby DD2. I live in France and part of the tradition is that each guest receives a sachet of sugared almonds. Our almonds will be a mixture of blues, pinks, and lilacs.

Anyhow I'd love to make my own sachets and with my DH we've decided to go for a more unconventiional colour scheme: ie I'd like the bags to be all different colours. Could you give my any ideas about how to make them, please? A simple example would be to cut a circle with pinking shears and tie it with a pretty ribbon. I'd be grateful for some more adventurous ideas.

Each sachet should contain about 12 sugared almonds.

For my wedding, my sister bought celophane rolls and lavendar coloured fine net and Blue velvet thin ribbon. She then made circles and put 5 almonds into the middle of the celophane and then pulled both celophane and net together with the ribbon.

Sometime simple is the best way to go. You could jazz them up with lengths of coloured florists ribbon whipped up into curls
