Drying rose petals

Does anyone know how to do this please. I would like to dry them so that they still have their colour if possible. I don't mind if they loose their scent.

I think you put them in a warm, dry place (like the airing cupboard) and leave them there.

I think you'd need to dry them in silica gel to dry them quickly if you want them to keep some colour although it never stays quite the same. I suppose you could put them in the oven on a very very low heat too with the door open for an hour covered with baking paper or something

I just dried my roses normally (hung upside down in a warm, dry place) and then when they had dried I carefully removed the petals.

They had colour still when dried (done it with red and pink roses) but obviously not the same colour asbefore.
And they did keep their scent, though they were strongly scented to start with I must say.
