Anyone know if I can get an overlock knife sharpened?

I've blunted the upper knife on my Singer overlock machine by jamming a pin in it. It's now refusing to cut fabric and jamming up.

A new knife will cost about £22 which I'm reluctant to spend if it's possible to have the old one sharpened for less - I don't use the machine very much.

Does anyone happen to know of a company that I could send the knife to and have it sharpened?

There don't seem to be any Singer shops in this area any more that I could just go in and ask.

Hi, does it need to be a Singer shop - any sewing machine shop will be able to get it sharpened. You could look in your local phone book or newspaper for sewing machine repairs perhaps you could take or post it to them after phoning to find out the cost of sharpening.

A local cabinet maker may do it too as they have to sharpen their own tools.
