Deperately seeking DMC lighthouse x-stitch pattern

Hi, I remember seeing a DMC kit a couple of years back, where you could stitch either a red or turquoisey blue lighthouse with the materials included. I've tried ebay, and googled DMC lighthouse but can't seem to find this particular one.

I loved it at the time, but couldn't justify buying for myself. Now a beach-loving friend has a birthday coming up and I think she'd love it.

I've got plenty of threads and fabric, so just a copy of the pattern is all I need.

Please can someone help????

I'll have a look around for you....definitely DMC?

I think so, I tend to prefer their charts, and I may have seen it in a chart book a while ago. It was definitely a kit, and had enough threads to do either colourway.

TIA

Is it of a lighthouse with crashing waves around it? I've had a look on ebay and there are a few if you search under the cross stitch section

I know the one you mean, and no. It's more .... funky for want of a better word. A really bright red or turquoisey blue and not fussy, as far as I can recall.

is it a cut thru one?

Songbird · 11/05/2010 13:48

No, it's nice that one though, isn't it?

You mean the Bothy ones? I've got the cut thru of the cottage and one of the space rocket.....to do!

songbird - have you looked on ebay? I do remember seeing a really bright lighthouse one that was DMC...

yep, ebay was my first port of call! I've got some really bargainous kits there before. I knew I should have got it when I saw it

I'll keep looking songbird....I'm always on ebay looking for cross stitch bargains...thats where I've got most of mine from. Hopefully someone will see your lighthouse one soon.

Thanks whispy, I may even try DMC direct, they helped me with a design I saw on their website once, that had no reference with it, so you never know!

Yep and I've always found DMC kits to be some of the nicest kits too....good luck.
