I have a knitting pattern for a children's jumper dress that I want to make, and I'm trying to figure out if I have enough of the wool I need already.
The pattern calls for 718 yards. I hate when patterns do this cos my wool never comes in lengths, I buy in weight.
So experienced wool peoples, good guess for what weight 718 yards in DK would be??
I haven't got the foggiest! lol

depends on the dk. you can check on the label and do some basic arithmetic or ask a shop assistant

I thought as much, thanks Eric. Was trying to avoid going to wool shop if I could, I'll only end up buying a ton more wool if I go in there
I have about 500g of the wool I want to use, I think it should be enough. I may just start knitting and see how far I get! lol
