6lbs - well done you!

Understand totally about buying new stuff - I've got loads of things from my bigger pre-DC days that just needs me to get my arse into gear to alter. Also, if you are losing weight, the last thing you want to do is buy stuff now that won't (hopefully) fit you in a few months time.

The obi would be flattering. It would also fit you whatever size you are.

A bit of velvet ribbon shouldn't cost too much though, you'd probably only need a metre.

I think we've lost Charchar in the Bermuda Triangle that is Craftster.

I daren't send in a search party, I'll get lost again.
I accidentally shut down all the craftster tabs I had open, 19

Agree, the place is a beast of a time swallower.

Although some tempting finds!

'Boots from a jumper' has made me choke on my coffee.

For those with too much time on their hands.

You're going to have to try those boots. If only to use up some of those corsages.

I know I've seen a really good tue for upcycling men's shirts but can't ruddy find it. It'll have to wait until tomorrow.

I've finally got away! No seriously, I was crocheting a flower, which looks like a flower, amazingly. Am impressed with myself! Am trying to make this, ambitious, no? Not helped by DD2, who has an uncanny ability to grab wool in her sleep Am an ogre stylewise anyway so you're much better off with Knotty

JackBauer · 23/04/2010 07:39

Ooh, that's gorgeous!

Another day and still looking for that damn shirt/blouse tute.

Not the one but...

Little top that would go nicely with that cardi from earlier

Could easily be made from a man's shirt, using the original front at the back to make it more interesting, IYSWIM.

Still not the one, but some fantastic ideas on this site.
