I really want one as a mother's day present.

We bought a kit from babiesrus but I'm not happy with the result.

You can book one with john lewis made out of clay which looks ok. The one i'm looking at is £67. You go there and they do it for you, then pick it up in 2 weeks once it's been fired up and glazed.

I was also googling casts this morning and you can get plaster casts which look awesome on the picture for around £70.

Any recommendations? We're in North London.

Judy Wiseman did both of my dc

She is in NW I think or will do home visits. Not cheap, in fact £££ but they are beautiful.

Please don't debi I've been drooling over looking at casts all day yesterday and I soo want one.. (have you seen the baby hands & feet casts that you can have mounted on cufflinks? I saw some absolutely amaaazing ones for £1250!!!)

Anyway I booked the john lewis imprints in the end, that'll have to do, dh will never agree to the casts prices.

I had my DS's hands and feet done through John Lewis/imprints and am thrilled with them. We had them done the day DS and I were released from the hospital when he was three days old. The person doing them was really nice and very gentle with my new baby. And the fact that they do all of the work makes it well worth the cost. I hope you enjoy them!
