I'm making a ruffled scarf for my SIL and a hat and scarf set for a friends daughter. Next I plan to start on some cute animals for the kids easter presents.

I love to crochet, have been doing it since I was a child and I'm trying to set up a bit of a side line making crochet goods for friends and family and perhaps to sell at craft fairs etc in the future.

Bugrit, scanner not working and too pissed tired to take a photo properly.
Will type out a basic daff pattern if you like. Hang on.

oh - didn't quite get that a scanner would be needed. Please don't type! So didn't mean to put you to any trouble.

Nothing, I'm afraid, but I am doing some interesting fairisle socks with my fanjo as we speak.
Nobody knew when they bought me a 'knitting nancy' at 5 how I would take that idea and run with it.

How very dare you - I am indeed a crocheter, I am making a ripple blanket at the moment....which is not so much square as rhombus shaped but hey ho God loves a trier. Just couldnt resist the picture though - class writ large in the medium of wool

Sorry, I am indeed a proper crocheter, well I was once...I have the cushion to prove it, as well as the drink coasters. Oh and some tiny tiny stuff done on teeny pins, sort of lace. I never got very far.
I also have several tons of wool which is waiting to be crocheted.

So no, not taking the piss

Jack, those coasters are perfect! Is the issue current? If not would you be a gem and scan it for me if your DH shows you how to work it . I'd be v grateful, you have my email. Anything I can do in return?
