What to do with left-over curtain material?

Hello crafty people! I have just had some curtains made for DD's room and have quite a bit of left-over fabric (measuring about 250cm by 150cm). The pattern repeat is huge (91cm) and as you can see from the link the design is big and colourful(foxes, rabbits and squirrels in a landscape).

What shall I do with the left-over bit? The thing which springs to mind is cushions for DD's room but I'd welcome any other ideas!

shouldn't you fashion pinafore dresses and leiderhosen for whole family and then take them up a mountain to learn to sing?

I love that fabric and recently bought a small length of the bird print from the same range to make a cushion for ds2's room. Used a 60 x 60 cushion pad from ikea which is big enough for the print to look good.

You'd probably have enough to make a bean bag, there must be patterns on the internet for them.

Bean bag! That's a great idea!

Any others? (already have a full set of leiderhosen and pinafores I'm afraid...)

You could make it into a quilt for her bed? Get some plain backing fabric and some padding and then sew (through the three layers) around some of the animals. You can also stuff the animals once you've sewn around them with extra padding to make them really stand out if you want to - if that makes any sense.

Take one full repeat and frame it and put it on the wall as a picture. You could split it into three and have three framed sections.

Lamp shade

Cushions

Quilted throw for a chair

Bed scarf if you haven't enough for a full quilt

Quilted toy bag/box

Door tidy (basically one long strip with patches sewn on the front as pockets). Hang this from a hook on the back of the door

yy frame a repeat

I made a removable cover for dd's upholstered headboard but my repeat was smaller

This is the best thing I've ever seen done with that fabric, it's awesome...

Brilliant ideas! Thanks very much.

I love that coat, serenity! Wow!
