Midwives are looking for knitters to make "boobies" to help teach breastfeeding.

If it helps them, great!

i think they need to make them in differnt cup sizes.

It might freak new mothers out - the hv who ran our locaal breastfeeding drop in session used to whip her giant knitted boob out at any opportunity and it must have been a triple Z cup it was enormous. I used to feel sorry for the poor desperate girls who would turn up to get some advice and she would come after them with this giant lumpy tit the size of her head. Most of them didn't come back.

They got off lightly. My NCT teacher had a giant knitted placenta . Now that was truly terrifying.

i loved them when i turned up to breast feeding clinic.

my 2yo DS is still obsessed with looking at mine so i might knit him a pair.
