Website for buying fabric

I need to buy various different bits of fabric and other sewing supplies: some corduroy, a load of different prints for quilting (I'm making a quilt for a little girl, so gingham, floral prints of different sizes, stripes etc), some plain buttons, thread, wadding and some fake fur. Can anyone recommend a website?

Thanks

I've used C&H fabrics in the past, just for wool and knitting stuff, but I did notice they do lots of fabrics and general supplies as well.

If you want to buy hideously expensive (but lovely) quilting fabrics, www.cottonpatch.co.uk is pretty good.

Ebay's also not bad, if you know exactly what you want and can be bothered to search.

Can't be bothered with ebay!

I ended up getting the quilting stuff from Gonetoearth.co.uk. Not cheap (a couple of pounds for a quarter!) but they have some nice prints. Still need to get corduroy and fake fur but I think I might manage to get to John Lewis next week...

I'm an abakhan addict! They have a few shops over the country and you can buy online too!

I love Fabricland They have such a huge amount fo cheap fabric, okay some is not the best quality but a lot of it is really nice.
You have to order by phone but they are really nice and everything is sent out really quickly by courier.

yes but the site itself is completely dire. i suffer from migraines and simply cannot use it as their is to much animation on every page.

EssenceOfJack · 27/02/2010 21:27

oh it's awful, isn't it?
I would just call them. I went away once and forgot to make an order before I went. I had no internet and I asked the girl for specific fabric types and she sorted it. Was all just right as well. I know they do floral FQ packs for quilting as well.
