How old are they?

Re the daffs I'd just buy a bunch, examine one up close then arrange in a vase/jar, and get her to sketch and paint.

Re the hat-god knows . You could get her to draw a design and take it from there.

Daffodils - look at pictures on google images to help you visualise them (when I say 'you' I mean you and DS, don't do it all for him, lol). chalk a background on paper. make a collage with green paper for the stem and yellow paper for the leaves. add chalk details as necessary.
so long as it is his work, it will be great.

pass on the bonnet, I'm afraid

i just googled 'make an easter bonnet' and Netmums have a page on this

Do you have an old hat - straw hat for example?

I would buy some yellow and green crepe paper and make daffodils out of that, with pipe cleaners as the stalk.

And cut out lots of little flowers out of the crepe paper (also get some purple for violets) and stick them onto the hat. Also those little chicks that you put onto cakes can be put onto the hat.

Alternatively, get yourself down to the Early Learning ventre, they usually have some ready prepared Easter craft hats including Easter bonnets!
