I'm having a clear-out, does anyone do cross stitch?

I don't have time to sit and cross stitch any more so am having a clear out (plus I prefer kitting now!!). I thought I'd see if anyone on here would be interested in buying any of it before I try to ebay it.

I haven't done a definitive list yet but I have threads, fabric, kits, patterns and magazines. Let me know if you're interested and I'll put the list together!

Yes I absolutely love cross stitch..I've just finished another Mr Men one for my DD...I could sit and stitch for hours....if you could let me know what kits you have that'd be great. Thanks.

Do you have any stamped cross stitch kits? My friend's niece really likes doing them (she's not into 'count' cross stitching just yet)

Jux · 10/02/2010 14:31

DD loves cross stitch. Also fabric, patterns, mags, you name she'll have it (if I can afford it!).

tillyfernackerpants · 10/02/2010 18:20

Iklboo, I don't have any stamped cross stitch, sorry.

Ok, dh has apparently put a lot of the patterns and magazines I had in a 'safe' place so that will require some hunting around to find.

In the meantime I have this (£3).

I have 114 threads of different colours (10p each), 3 lots of 14ct antique white fabric, 1 14ct light blue, 2 lots of 16ct antique white and 1 18ct cream (all for £1 each).

I also have 2 DMC Baby patterns, one a bee and one a ladybird (same style as bee). As I've done these ones already, I'm happy to give the patterns for free. The kit uses Pearl Cotton but if you want I can probably make them up with threads & fabric from my stash.

Last thing I have a list which shows the anchor thread colours and the DMC equivalent, again I'm happy to send free. I got this a few years ago so it is probably a bit out of date!

tillyfernackerpants · 10/02/2010 19:46

tjackson, I have 39 DMC threads. If you want, I can tell you either the colours or numbers of them.

I'm going out now but will be back tomorrow.

I may be interested as well. I am hoping to get back into cross stitching this year. I am interested in DMC or Anchor threads. Also, what size are your fabric pieces? And are they aida or evenweave? Are the frames picture frames or hoops? And what size are they? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks in advance.

Jux · 11/02/2010 11:52

I the Dance Leader is beautiful, but perhaps a bit difficult for dd at the moment. The bee she could do, so I'm definitely interested in those.

We have quite a lot of threads of different sorts as mum did tons of tapestry, so we have all her stuff, but if you want to get rid of any more threads etc do feel free. We'll give them a good home and be nice to them!

Jux · 11/02/2010 11:53

I think the Dance Leader is beautiful!

tillyfernackerpants · 11/02/2010 15:31

Jux, it does look beautiful, I think I was a bit overambitious when I bought it! I'll send you the Bee one, it is just the pattern though, is that ok?

Purplefrog, the frames are hoops and there's a square one similar to this, I don't know what size they are though, sorry. The fabric is Aida but again I don't know what size they are, its just a mix.

Email me on jokeoghsmith at yahoo dot co dot uk and we can sort out addresses etc.

Tilly, if you still have the aida then I'd be interested in all of it

PurpleFrog · 11/02/2010 22:55

Thanks - I am not interested in hoops or rotating frames as I have plenty. Again, I am not really interested in aida. If you still have Anchor or DMC threads, though, I would be interested. I will drop you an e-mail. Thanks again.

tillyfernackerpants · 12/02/2010 09:56

Two, I do have the aida. I put my email address below so email me & we can sort it out.

Woohoo Tilly, fabric arrived today, now I have to figure out which projects to put on them!

Thanks, and if you do find the magazines you'll know where to list them

PurpleFrog · 19/02/2010 10:47

Threads arrived yesterday. Fantastic selection. Thanks very much.

tillyfernackerpants · 19/02/2010 20:21

Glad everything arrived
