What do you keep your childrens art and bits in?

I don't want to keep everything they bring home but also want to keep some of them. Was thinking something like this but then thought that perhaps an expanding file may be better, then it could also store school reports and certificates etc.

I'd be interested to know what everyone else keeps theirs in.

what I dont throw away I try and get the children to 'give' to other people

the rest is in a pile on top of the computer desk looking at me through narrowed eyes

Funnily enough that is where ours are at the mo, and in the front seat of my car

Hmmm thanks hullygully. I like to keep some of them, but most go in the bin too

I hanker after a bit of this but whether I could actually be arsed to hang it is a different matter.

flier · 09/02/2010 15:39

Hmm midnihtexpress, something like that would be ok if I had a playroom

Oh goodness I don't have anything so grand as a playroom - I was thinking for their bedroom.

He he he Hully... I was thinking that, but wouldn't have said it!

bumping again - surely I can't be the only one that wants to keep some of my DCs artwork?

I stick the best ones up on one wall of the kitchen that needs decorating (hides the chips), every so often I take them down and put them in a bottom drawer of a chest of drawers and forget about them.
I have a chest fo drawers downstairs with the handles taken off which si where the paints/crayons/paper/glue are kept and the bottom drawer is for comlpeted stuff. at least that is the theory
The other good ones get posted to grandparents/aunts/uncles to deal with

In a great big heap until it gets untenable. Then I have a sort out. Really nice ones go on the wall for a while. The rest go in one of those underbed storage bags, up in the top of the wardrobe.

In fact, I need to do another batch tonight.

I have two DDs aged 4 and 7. The first bag is full and I seriously need to purge it LOL!

Brilliant idea to post them to unwitting and grateful rellies.
