One of the knitting magazines?

Not sure if we can name other sites but there is one called Ravelry that you may find useful.

got MIL a knitting bag for xmas, has pockets for different size needles and stuff. not on net tho, shop in my town

Maybe have a look here?

get knitted or Loop here is more upmarket.

To be honest, as I am a keen knitter myself, I don't actually want a nice knitting bag - I just use whatever is to hand. And I prefer my plastic stitch markers to the fancy ones somebody made me. I do however love my fancy Knitpro needle set. If she is a trad knitter, then a voucher for John Lewis would be nice!

Does she knit socks at all? Laughing Yaffle do gorgeous sock project bags here. I own two and use them all the time, need to buy more as I cast on way too many projects at once!

(Slight disclaimer, the owner is a friend of mine - but I spend tonnes of my money there as I really do love her stuff. Both my bags were bought, not freebies!)

I second florence's suggestion of GetKnitted or Loop -- GK has great selection and prices, while both have nicer stuff than JLP who only have pretty bog-standard yarns.

I loooove my Lexie Barnes circulars case -- it was rather spendy but I was always struggling with circular spaghetti before and v worth it. Lantern Moon also do extremely cute measuring tapes like bees and sheep!

But as a knitter I agree -- stash is never big enough.
